Pensioner hit in the face and robbed

Two men approached the 71-year-old woman in Northstead at around 10.30pm on Thursday.

One of the men asked her for money and when she said she had none he hit her in the face. Both men then walked away.

The suspect was a slim Asian man in his 30s, around 5ft 8in tall, who was wearing a black jacket and black jeans. The woman, who was left with bruising, could not describe the second man.
