Pancake flipping fun at nursery

Children at Little Acorns Day Nursery helped prepare pancake mixture and selected their favourite toppings to celebrate Shrove Tuesday today (Tuesday).

New nursery chef Dominic Clayton showed the pre-school children how the pancakes were made.

The nursery’s deputy manager Chelsie Austin said “The babies had a lot of fun adding different flavours to their pancakes and finding out what tastes they did and didn’t like.”

More than 40 children got involved with making the pancakes, trying out different flavour combinations and then eating them all.
