WMC pulls out the stops for charity
THORNHILL Edge Working Men’s Club held a charity night in June with all proceeds going to the Candlelighters,fighting children’s cancer in Yorkshire.
Entertainment was courtesy of Mayfayre Management and Gordon Kellett Entertainments.
The evening’s events included a sponsored headshave, body waxing, bingo, raffles and an auction.

Hide AdA big thank you goes out to the local businesspeople and villagers of Thornhill and Thornhill Lees including Alan Wood of the Flat Top, Matt Diskin of Leeds Rhinos, the German Centre in Huddersfield, Emma and the staff at Allerton Grange High School, families, friends and everyone who attended on the night.
We raised a fantastic £3,200.
A special thank you to the committee and bar staff of the club for their brilliant service and support.
