Well done to Paul
Following last Friday’s election result, I am writing to congratulate my opponent Paul Kane for being re-elected as councillor for Dewsbury East. Once again, the Labour Party ran a very effective and professional campaign.
I would also like to send my heartfelt thanks to all the local residents and supporters throughout the Dewsbury East ward who volunteered to help with my campaign.
Finally, I would like to pay tribute to Khizar Iqbal who sadly lost his seat in Dewsbury South. I always remember canvassing in Thornhill for Simon Reevell when Khizar stood as an Independent in the General Election.
