Spend a penny on us
Now that Tesco has succeeded in turning the Black Bull into one of its Express stores against considerable local opposition and has assured the people of Mirfield it will bring more people to the town, wouldn’t it be a nice gesture for it to sponsor our public conveniences to protect them from possible closure?
After all, Tesco has nothing to lose (sorry!) and everything to gain in terms of goodwill. Perhaps the Reporter could ask Tesco to comment?
