Now that the cuts have been agreed perhaps it is time for a radical cull of the glitterati who rule this strange place called Kirklees.
How many would put their hands up for election if it was bus fare only expenses. Getting rid of the expensively powerful at the top could mean some other people keeping their jobs at the bottom of the ladder.
