MP did not represent views of constituents

Perhaps Simon Reevell did not read the job description when he took on the role of MP to represent the good people of Dewsbury.

When these very people who voted him in asked for his support on hearing their local hospital was to be deprived of essential services because cuts had to be made in the NHS, he stuck to the party line and insisted it was all for the best.

He never attended public meetings, consultation meetings or CCG meetings to hear any of the debates.

He stepped aside from the fears and worries of his constituents to concentrate, I suspect, on his day job (that of a busy barrister no less) and left such as Mike Wood MP to fight our corner.

Maybe the non-commitment of Mr Reevell in this matter will be reflected in the results of the next election.
