LETTER: Stop wasting our money
I have just received a letter from Kirklees Council informing me of a change in by bin collection times.
My bin will now be emptied on Thursdays. No change there then.
Also I must make sure I put the bin out by 7am that morning as the times they empty it may change. What specific time is this then? Sometimes it is very early in the morning and sometimes well after lunch. Just how much has it cost to send out these letters (which I will dispose of in my green bin) when surely all they had to do is check their records as to collection times and only inform those people who will actually affected and not all and sundry.
Come on Kirklees Council, stop wasting our council tax money.
