It’s time for a one nation UK football team!
I am sorry that England’s playing in Brazil has slipped to a level not seen since, well since the Troubles began.
While England’s performance in the World Cup was disappointing to say the least, is anyone surprised? The majority of footballers in the Premier League are not English. England’s farm system is not providing enough quality players for its game. England needs to swallow its national pride and open its doors to other United Kingdom members.
The Three Lions should represent England, Scotland, and Wales, and in my opinion, the Fourth Lion of Northern Ireland should be included as well.
I am not superstitious, but the Fourth Lion could be put on the left shoulder to ward off misfortune, dragons, and Luis “Jaws” Suarez. St. George - ora pro nobis!
