Fantastic fundraisers

Last Thursday I attended a charity evening at Eastborough Club in Dewsbury, the proceeds being for the Mayor’s appeal The Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.

It was a very successful evening, raising in excess of £1,300.

A big thank you to all the artistes who appeared free of charge and to Mark and Michelle for organising the show, and everyone who attended and made donations.

Special thanks to Kelly James who dedicated a song to the local young soldiers who recently lost their lives.

This was a very poignant moment in the show with the added respect given by Kelly’s young friends.
