Hide AdWetherspoon has purchased the former bank next door to allow for the extra space.
The newly acquired building will add a first-floor area with views to Albion Street.
At ground floor level, the building will give the pub a whole new direction and improved visibility in the town.
Inside the pub, which will be completely redecorated, there will be a new colour scheme and new carpets installed throughout. New comfy seating booths and new lighting installation will give a much warmer, richer feel.
