A world-leading manufacturer has showcased its brand new machine facilities at a special open house event .

600 UK, the home of market leading tool brands, hosted the event at its newly refurbished headquarters in Heckmondwike last week.

The three day event saw the company’s entire range of advanced CNC turning centres, manual/CNC ‘teach’ lathes and manual centre lathes.

Visitors also got to witness the unveiling of the 3-axis Tornado T2M, which is the newest member of the Tornado CNC turning centre range, along with the popular Alpha XS manual/CNC lathe.

General manager Mike Berry said: “Our event marks the first opportunity for 600 UK customers to see our new Heckmondwike manufacturing and showroom facilities.”

The Heckmondwike premises is where 600 UK focused its machine tools business and further expanded its machine tool, spares, accessories and components manufacturing.

600 Finance also presented a series of outstanding finance terms for customers in the UK.

The Heckmondwike site accommodates manufacturing cells for all products, a customer showroom and new offices for all 600 UK sales, support and head office staff.
