Netting a new career

Huddersfield Town players have kicked off the new Kirklees College prospectus – which includes brand new classes at the Dewsbury campus.

The players are backing a campaign urging young people to ‘be part of it’ and find out how courses could help them find the future career of their dreams,

The college has a wide range of courses at all levels, with new offers including motor vehicle at Dewsbury, Rock School at Highfields, and apprenticeships in process manufacturing.

The prospectus is available online to download, or prospective students can build their own personalised version at www.kirkleescollege.ac./myprospectus.

It includes a guide to the UCAS points accrued with different BTEC grade combinations. The prospectus also has a handy guide for parents, information about student services, entry requirements and a list of what course areas are available at each centre.

The full time application deadline is Thursday April 10, 2014, and open days will be held in January and March.
