Murdered sex offender was strangled
Robert Edward Hind, 46, was reported missing last Wednesday evening.
Yesterday (Tuesday) a 46-year-old man was charged with his murder.

Hide AdDavid Anthony Mitchell is said to have murdered Mr Hind at Manchester Road in Cowlersley, Huddersfield, on Wednesday December 11.
Mitchell, of the same address, refused to leave the cells to go into the courtroom but the matter was dealt with in his absence.
A bail application could not be considered as the defendant was not in court.
Mitchell will appear at Leeds Crown Court on Thursday at 10am.

Hide AdPolice found suspected human remains in the area of the River Colne next to Colne Vale Road in Milnsbridge on Monday.
Senior investigating officer Supt Scott Wood said: “We can now confirm that the suspected human remains recently recovered from the Colne Vale area of Huddersfield are that of missing man Robert Edward Hind.
“A forensic post mortem examination was carried out which showed the 46-year-old died as a result of strangulation and head injuries.
“The scene guards in Colne Vale Road and an address in Manchester Road in Huddersfield have now been lifted.”
