The rider of the 125cc motorcycle collided with a silver Honda car at around 9am on Burgh Mill Lane. He was taken to Dewsbury and District Hospital for precautionary checks, a police spokesperson said. The road was partially blocked and traffic was disrupted but it has now cleared.
