Monks community get a piece of the auction
A community of monks in Mirfield is gearing up for a fundraising auction this month.
The Community of the Resurrection in Stocks Bank Road will hold its latest auction on March 29 to help raise funds to make improvements to its quarry theatre.
There are more than 400 Lots at this year’s auction, including a silver cup made by the Royal goldsmiths in 1803, and an antique train set.
The auction will take place at the Community of the Resurrection on Saturday March 29 at 2pm, with opportunities to view the items on Friday March 28.
