Mirfield man’s child porn pics shame

Stephen Curtis Brooke was arrested in August 2009 after a Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre operation into a Croatian website found child porn had been downloaded onto his computer.

Dewsbury Magistrates’ Court heard a search of Brooke’s computer and eight memory sticks found 13,624 images.

Police rate the seriousness of the images on a scale of one to five, with five being the most graphic. Brooke had images of all categories – most were level one, but eight were level five.

The court heard Brooke, 57, of Priory Way, Mirfield, pleaded guilty at the first opportunity.
