Mirfield festival hops to it
The event, which is free to enter, will boast more than 20 hand-pulled ales and ciders for punters to sample.
It takes place at Mirfield Cricket Club, in Huddersfield Road, Mirfield, between July 11 and 13.

Hide AdAnd organisers have added a third day to the festivities, hoping to improve on last year’s success.
Round Table member Reuben Baker said: “This year we want to make it even bigger and better. We have started taking sponsorship.
“It’s a local event the people of Mirfield could quite enjoy. They would be putting money into good local causes . It is going to be a great day out.”
Three-hundred glasses were sold at last year’s festival, but Reuben is hoping attendance will top 500 this time around.

Hide AdThe cricket club, along with My Mirfield and others, have stepped-up to sponsor the event.
But profits made will go to various local charities who can approach the Round Table.
Past beneficiaries include the Mirfield Scouts, Rainbows, Salvation Army and Jellytots play group.
Reuben said: “We try to give as much as possible.”
The nine members of the Round Table are also appealing for new recruits.

Hide Ad“We are a set of local lads who like to get out and put on events. I’m getting new experiences and meeting new people,” he said.
The weekend kicks-off at 6pm-11pm on Friday July 11, with Saturday and Sunday starting from noon- 10.30pm.
Music from local artists Jenny Winterburn and her band starts at 8pm on the Saturday, and a hog roast will be on sale on Sunday.
