MFG principal Lorraine Barker, right, will also be keeping an eye on Colne Valley. Mrs Barker is an accredited National Leader of Education and MFG, in Kitson Hill Road, has had two successive outstanding Ofsted reports.

A Kirklees Council spokeswoman said: “The staff at the college are working hard to deliver the best learning experiences that will result in effective student outcomes.”
