Met Office issues ice weather warning for West Yorkshire

The Met Office has issued a weather warning for ice for West Yorkshire.
The yellow ‘be aware’ warning is valid until 10am today (Saturday).
A Met Office spokesperson said: “As a band of rain clears away southeastward during Friday evening, temperatures are expected to fall sharply.
“This will lead to a chance of ice forming on untreated roads and pavements.”
Strong winds with gales are also expected over hills and there will be a maximum temperature of 5°C.
