Marie Curie daffodils planted in Field Of Hope at Mirfield library

A GARDEN where people can reflect on their lost loved ones has been planted outside Mirfield Library.

The Field Of Hope has been filled with bright daffodils for an initiative by Marie Curie Cancer Care.

The flowers are a symbol of how life goes on after losing someone to cancer.

Bulbs were provided by Whiteley’s Garden Centre in Mirfield and a sign was made by Signs Here in Six Lanes End, Heckmondwike.

Marie Curie is currently looking for contributions to its daffodil appeal and volunteers to help with fundraising.

Anyone who can help should contact Martin Hatfield on 07771724291 or [email protected].
