Man’s body found in Dewsbury canal
The body of a man has been found in the water at Savile Town Wharf in Dewsbury.
Police were called to the marina off Mill Street East this morning (Sunday) at around 10am.
They had been contacted by one of the occupants of a boat moored in the marina.
A spokesman said the man had not been identified yet.
He said it was also too early to say whether the circumstances were suspicious.
