The 43-year-old man was followed into the ground floor communal area of Talbot Mills flats on Well Lane between 2pm-2.30pm on Saturday June 28.

Det Con Andy Clayton, from Huddersfield CID, said: “Two of the three suspects were carrying knives and threatened the victim making demands for property. As one of the suspects reached round to take the man’s wallet from his rear trouser pocket a scuffle ensued and all three suspects fled the block of flats with the man’s wallet containing cash and cards.

“Fortunately, the victim did not suffer any serious injury in the incident, but has been left understandably shocked by what took place.”

All three supects are described as white males, in their early 20s and of slim build. The main suspect was described as being particularly skinny and scruffy looking with untidy short hair. He was wearing a khaki green coloured jacket with a drawstring hood and blue jeans.
