Man threatened for his phone in Mirfield
A MAN was followed in the middle of the night and threatened by a pair of would-be thieves.
He was walking along Slipper Lane with an 18-year-old friend when they were approached by two men at around 1am on Sunday May 6.
The victim tried to run away after he was threatened by the two men, but tripped over.

Hide AdHe got up and the pair started to follow him, and threatened him for his mobile phone.
When he showed them his phone the two suspects ran away. They were two white men aged between 16 and 21.
One was around 6ft 2in tall with a stocky build. He wore a balaclava and a dark hooded top.
The other suspect was around 5ft 9in tall with a slim build and work similar clothing.
