The front seat passenger of the car got out and threatened the man with the knife, demanding he hand over the money.

The victim tried to run away but was pulled to the ground and his money grabbed from him. He received a hand injury in the attack.

The suspect got back into the car, which then left the scene heading towards Blakeridge Lane.

Police described the suspect as an Asian man whose face was covered in what was thought to be a stocking.

Witnesses are asked to call 0845 6060606 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
