Man found lying in the street after shooting
Armed police found a man lying in the road with wounds to his head and body after reports he was shot.
The incident took place in Wilson Road, Wyke, at around 11.30pm last night (Wednesday).
The 20-year-old’s injuries were believed to have been caused by an air gun and were not thought to be life threatening.
A man, 42, was arrested in the area on suspicion of wounding with intent and remains in custody while enquries continue.
