A man fell from a tree near a cliff face in Horbury.

A man fell from a tree close to a cliff face in Horbury.

Firefighters from Ossett were called to rescue the man who had fallen near Addingford Drive at 9.14pm on Monday.

A West Yorkshire Fire Service spokeswoman said specialist crews from Cleckheaton’s Technical Rescue Unit attended.

Firefighters used a two-line rescue and managed to free the man and the air ambulance was also called to the scene.
