A man found in a car with a missing window has been arrested after police seized Class A and B drugs.
Police were called to the Whinney Hill Park area of Brighouse at around 1pm yesterday afternoon after reports of a suspicious vehicle.
Inspector Mark Wheeler said: “It was described as suspicious because the engine was being revved and the car had a smashed window with a bag over it.
“In order to support the local NPT, the Roads Policing Unit attended and found the vehicle within five minutes of the call being received.
“They searched both the driver and the vehicle and a quantity of what is believed to be Class A and Class B drugs was recovered.”
The 30-year-old man from Wyke was arrested and charged with the possession of Class B drug cannabis.
He is due to appear at Calderdale Magistrates’ Court on February 25.
