Man charged after £6m heroin haul seized
A Dewsbury man has been charged with drug smuggling after heroin with an estimated street value of £6.4m was seized by border officials.
Investigators tracked a delivery of furniture that was imported through Liverpool docks from Pakistan, via Dubai, in May 2012.
The furniture was then delivered to storage units in Dewsbury and Nelson, Lancashire.

Hide AdBorder Force officials said 35kg (77lb) of heroin was seized after they raided the units.
The Dewsbury man and two men from Nelson have been charged with conspiracy to import a Class A drug.
They will appear before magistrates at Trafford, Manchester, on Friday.
