Man arrested over market robbery
A man has been arrested in connection with a robbery near the market in Dewsbury town centre.
The incident took place on September 5 when two men aged 18 and 19 and a woman aged 18 were approached by two men on Foundry Street.
No weapons were used but all the victims were assaulted and money was taken. Some of the market traders witnessed the robbery.
A 21-year-old suspect, from Dewsbury, is being held in custody by police (Wednesday).
A man was arrested around the time of the incident but was released.
