M62 roadworks due to start
WORK starts next week to resurface the M62 between junctions 26 and 27
The work is to provide an improved road surface and follows the completion of the concrete central reservation barrier works between the junctions.
Work starts on Monday evening and will take place on Sunday to Friday nights between 8pm and 6am. The east and westbound carriageways will be resurfaced and new road markings and road studs will be laid.
The work will be completed by November. Both carriageways will remain open but it will be necessary to close various lanes and slip roads between junctions 26 and 27.
