The 2015 M-Fest follows on from last year’s hugely successful one-day event, with organiser Donal O’Driscoll announcing it will this year take place over two days – June 20 and 21.

Acts as diverse as Ben Crowther, The Blind Dead McJones Band and the 20-piece Kirklees Music School Swing group will be playing the planned event on Mirfield Showgrounds.

Mr O’Driscoll said: “It’s a momentous occasion when all the acts are booked and you’ve worked out the running order over the two days.

“We have a varied and really interesting lineup.”

But he was keen to stress the festival will only go ahead if enough people secure their half price early bird tickets by May 4.

Tickets for the event were recently slashed in half, and are only £10 for the entire weekend.

Sponsors for the event will now be given complimentary tickets.

Mr O’Driscoll added: “The sponsorship packages are being sold as a win-win situation for business.

“As well as the weekend tickets the package includes business advertising placement at the event.”

Cheaper sponsorship packages are available as well. £250 includes 12 weekend tickets and 25 tickets for £500.]
