LDF homes plan meeting
GREEN belt campaigners have been invited to a meeting about plans for thousands of homes near the Kirklees-Leeds border.
A draft Local Development Framework plan by Leeds City Council includes 7,200 homes in and around Morley. Coun Judith Elliott (Morley Borough Independents) said: “I would encourage all residents to come to the meeting. We are also inviting campaigners from Chidswell who are supporting our campaign to form a unified approach against LDF proposals.”
The meeting is at Tingley Working Men’s Club off Tingley Roundabout on Tuesday, 7.15pm.
