Landrover headlight theft

Car headlights, tools and a cash till were among the items stolen in Mirfield this week.

The headlights of a Landrover Discovery were stolen from Wellhouse Close on Wednesday January 21.

The theft happened at 11.25pm.

A Citroen Berlingo was taken without the owner’s consent from Lower Hopton, after the keys were left in the ignition.

The car was taken from Station Road at about 4pm on Thursday, January 22.

Tools were stolen from the vehicle before it was abandoned in Cleckheaton.

A cash till was stolen from a shop in Huddersfield Road, Battyeford on Saturday, January 24.

The building was burgled at 4.30am.
