Knife-wielding robbers threaten staff in terrifying shop raid

Armed robbers threatened staff in a terrifying shop raid last night.

Two masked men, who were both carrying knives, entered the Co-op in Westborough at around 7.30pm.

One of the men forced a woman to open the till and hand over cash.

The other suspect went into the back office and threatened another member of staff with a knife who then handed over cash.

This employee was kneed in the face.

Police have said the first suspect was 5ft 8ins tall, slim, wearing a grey hooded top with the hood up with bright red Adidas stripes down the arms and wearing a face covering. He was also wearing tracksuit bottoms with white stripes.

The second man is described as wearing a blue hooded top with the hood up and a face covering. He was also wearing dark Adidas tracksuit bottoms with white stripes.
