Kirsty is a cut above the rest

A HAIRDRESSER is snipping her way to the top of her profession after winning a recent competition.

Kirsty Lowe, who is studying for the NVQ level three hairdressing at Mark Betts Hair Education in Dewsbury took part in the salon’s end of course competition and walked away with the award for presentation.

Kirsty studied for the qualification alongside her work as a full-time senior stylist at Revive Hair and Beauty in Croft Street, Heckmondwike.

She impressed the course leaders after creating an imaginative style which incorporated vibrant blue and green colouring which was matched with a special outfit made of maps and coordinated accessories.

The look was modelled by colleague Preeti Patel.

Manager of Revive Hilary Patel said: “We are very proud of Kirsty’s achievement in winning this award which is confirmation of her talent in this field.

“The team at Revive continues to develop their skills which enables us to offer customers the top talent in both hair and beauty.”
