Students received awards for qualifications in art, design, computing, photography, education, fashion, animal management, counselling and child development.

Mr McCann told graduates: “My challenge to you is to build on your strengths and seize opportunity and challenge that life throws up and stretch yourself to become the best you can be in whatever career paths you take in to the future.

“It is also a celebration of achievement for your team – everybody needs a support team behind them to smooth the way for their success and push them to their potential.

“Some of the people closest to you in your team have come with you to share in the pride and joy of your success. I hope you will take quiet opportunity to join me in thanking them for the support they have given you during your studies.

“It is also a day of achievement for the College team who have also worked to support you and challenge you to get to this day.”
