Mark Sanders, Locala chairman, said: “It’s been an exciting year for Locala after being awarded the contract to provide Kirklees community healthcare services once again, as well as Calderdale school nursing and Bradford sexual health services.

“As a social enterprise, we’re proud to share our 2015 achievements with local charities that play a huge role in supporting people in our communities.”

Hollybank Trust is one of eight good causes chosen by Locala to receive a share of £30,000 in the last weeks of 2015 as part of its Charity Countdown.

The charity cares for and educates children and adults with special needs in its school and residential homes and it also runs daytime activity facilities.
