Join us for the Reporter Series readers’ carol concert

The Reporter Series is once again inviting all its readers to join the team for a community carol service.

SINGING UP The Reporter Series is hosting its second readers Christmas service on December 18.

Those of any faith, or no faith at all are invited to our readers’ Christmas service at Dewsbury Minster on Wednesday December 18.

Reporter Series editor Hannah Ridgeway said: “We were thrilled to have so many readers and their families join us last year.

“We hope as many people as possible will pack into the church for our second festive get together.”

Mirfield Salvation Army Band and the Minster’s accomplished organist Stephen Parker will provide the music.

And the Rev Canon Kevin Partington, rector of Dewsbury Minster, will lead the service.

“It’s a great privilege to be hosting the second carol concert,” he said.

“It was a great event last year and provides an opportunity for our communities to get together to support worthy local causes.”

Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Entry is free.
