Jobs boost for Mirfield as Starbucks move in to town

The jobs were first advertised in July last year, but have been re-advertised and Starbucks have confirmed that the store in planned to open next month on Leeds Road.

The coffee chain is opening the store in partnership with Euro Garages, who have a contract to open more than 100 stores in the UK.

A spokeswoman for Starbucks said: “We can confirm that a new store is due to open in October on the A62 Leeds Road in Mirfield, in partnership with Euro Garages. This store will create around 15 jobs for the local area.

“We know that our customers expect the best possible coffee wherever they are and the success of our drive-thru and motorway stores show that this is a big opportunity.

“We are proud of our partnership with Euro Garages that is bringing great coffee and exciting employment opportunities in communities across the UK, including in Mirfield.”
