It’s a close shave for teachers

The 10 Heckmondwike Grammar School teachers grew taches in support of men’s charities as part of Movember.

And the plucky professors even gave pupils the chance to shave them off to raise extra cash.

Chantelle Cocking, from the school, said the teachers held a ‘shave-off’ on Tuesday.

She said: “We had a cheerometer and the children cheered for their favourite mo. The winner was chemistry teacher Dave Howard, who won a Mo Bro 2012 trophy.

“It was really good fun!”
