A 25-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of burglary and drugs offences.

Insp Tim Holland said: “This is a significant find of the more potent form of cannabis, known as skunk, that will now not make its way on to the streets of Kirklees.

It is obvious that the offenders intended to grow cannabis at the site for some time and plants, lighting and other equipment was removed prior to the arrival of the police.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Det Sgt Lee Harnell on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
