Hospital radio needs presenter
The Heavy Woollen District’s hospital radio station is seeking a volunteer to help bring local sport to life on Saturday afternoons.
The Sportstime show – on the air between 2pm and 5pm every Saturday – covers the latest local, national and international action and looks ahead to the coming week.

Hide AdPresenter Mike Ireland said: “We’re looking for someone who is passionate about local sport and providing a great service to the patients and staff at the hospital.
“I’m after someone who is reliable and can commit themselves on a weekly basis to help make Sportstime a must listen.”
The role would be for a researcher and co-presenter to collate scores, statistics and information during the programme who can talk on air about local sport.
Volunteers do not need any previous experience of working on the radio – they just have to know how to use a computer.
