The party from Fieldhead Park on Kitson Hill Road spent an afternoon aboard the Safe Anchor Lady cruising the Huddersfield Broad Canal last Wednesday.

Global Afternoon Tea Day was part of Nutrition and Hydration Week, which the home supported as part of its commitment to provide healthy, nutritious, homecooked meals for residents.

Joy Allen, Fieldhead Court Manager said: “As well as having a wonderful day out in the spring sunshine and a lovely afternoon tea, we were able to support Nutrition and Hydration week in a fun and sociable way that was thoroughly enjoyed by all involved.”
