Upper Batley High School has just held its final session of Staying Safe days.

Each year groups have taken part in these sessions by leaning about key topics such as car and road safety, knife crime, mental health, terrorism, drug misuse and child exploitation.

The staying safe days have provided a fantastic opportunity for the school’s learners to receive vital information from professionals such as the fire brigade, police and prevent. Organiser Mrs Farrar, head of PSHCE, said: “Our learners really enjoyed these sessions and it showed them positive ways and valuable information of how to stay safe.”
