Healthcare group’s green IT award
A healthcare provider has beaten national competition and won an award for its environmentally friendly use of computers.
Locala, which provides healthcare services in Kirklees, won the NHS Sustainability IT Award for its innovative system used by patients and staff. Director of transformation Jim Barwick said: “There’s plenty more we can achieve but this award is an acknowledgement of the hard work and commitment of all Locala colleagues”.
