Heading up new store

Riz Lateef will be at the helm when the Ravensthorpe branch opens next month.

And his preparation work has already started, from checking that 15,000 products are shelf-stacked to ensuring that all staff are fully trained.

The 32-year-old said: “I am thrilled to be taking up this position. Ravensthorpe deserves a new supermarket and we look forward to serving the whole community.”

Mr Lateef joined Morrisons eight years ago and has risen through the ranks, working as a produce supervisor, grocery manager and acting deputy manager at the Huddersfield store.
