Green fingered fun for Big Dig Day

Green-fingered volunteers are wanted to help mark Big Dig Day on Saturday.

The national project aims to get people involved in community gardens and food growing projects across England, and gardens in Batley and Dewsbury will be joining the fun.

Volunteers are wanted to help prepare raised beds, dig in fertiliser, sow seeds for vegetables and herbs and plant soft fruit bushes.
