Duvalay, based in Quarry Road, Gomersal, has agreed a deal to supply bedding for east Yorkshire-based Swift Caravans.

The company will fit its Duvalite mattress in Swifts fixed bed models and will be a standard feature in the 2014 caravan and motorhome ranges.

Duvalay was made famous on TV show Dragon’s Den, when Hilary Devey chose to back the company for its Duvalite mattress made with what the company calls “lightweight memory fibre technology.”

The deal caps off a good couple of years for the firm as Liz Colleran, owner of Duvalay, was crowned Manufacturing Business Woman of the Year and overall Business Woman of the Year in the 2012 North Kirklees Women in Business Awards.

Liz, who also acts as the company’s sales and marketing director, said: “We are delighted to be working with such a forward thinking company such as Swift Caravans, not only do the mattresses provide luxurious comfort, they also good for the environment.”

Swift Group’s commercial director, Nick Page, was excited about the partnership.

He added: “We have developed links with a range of suppliers this year to offer our customer exclusive luxury features that help set our products further apart from the rest of the field.

“Along with refinements in all ranges, to enhance already winning formulas, the 2014 models are best yet to come out of the Swift stable.”
