Get aboard boating open days
Enjoy a free boat trip on the Calder and Hebble as part of the Safe Anchor Trust’s open days.
The Trust, which is based at Shepley Bridge Marina in Mirfield, hosts a series of open days each year with the first starting this Saturday and Sunday, from 10.30am to 4pm.
Open days will also be held one weekend a month, with the final weekend on September 27 and 28. Next month there will be three open days on Saturday April 19, Sunday April 20 and Easter Monday, April 21.

Hide AdRefreshments will be available in the café and the model garden railway will also be open.
The charity provides trips on the waterways particularly for special needs groups, socially disadvantaged groups and those with health and mobility problems. It runs four boats, two of which have full wheelchair accessibility.
